Hit the cockroach running across your kitchen floor with that flyswatter not where the roach is,

but where it is going to be when your swatter comes down to the floor!

Now apply this rule to your life!

In a million ways!

— Go to the farmers market when it opens, do not wait until the crowds come such that most of the good stuff has been sold. Same with trying to visit yard sales at 10 am: get up early and be there when they begin!

— Buy your flu and cold supplies before you catch the condition, when you feel sick you do not want to get out of bed and face buying stuff!

— butter your rolls and other foods first while they are still warm!

— Looking for a place to live and there, in the want ads, there looks to be the perfect place for rent. Call *immediately*. Seconds can count. someone might call ahead of you and now the place is gone!

— You got the job and the boss lets you choose one of four cubicles to use as your “office”. Choose very carefully. You will spend 40 hours a week there. Choose according to what kind of work you will be doing. Does this job require a visit to the copy machine ten times an hour? There is only one copier for the entire office complex. Three of the cubicles are on the second floor and one is on the first floor 30 feet from the copier. Choose that cubicle.
