Hello, you all. I am approaching 81 years old, now. I live in a senior Independent home, Westminster Gardens, here in Tallahassee, Florida.
The "about me": "Freestone", is my grandfather's last name, my mother gave to me his last name, for a first name. I do not feel like I am 80 years old. I tend to be liberal in social issues and the arts, but conservative in daily living. Some people might call me a "psychic" or even a "mystic", but I also like to have my feet onto the ground! I have a very strong feeling nature and I love to tell stories. People call me an "intellectual", but I do not call myself that, as I think in images, being right--brained. I also think in metaphors and analogies. North Carolina researchers found that this Carolina state has 105 accent zones, the South probably has a thousand accents. I would "choose" the "storyteller" accent, as my own version of a southern accent.

I have grown a goatee, as of March! A skin cancer removal made this area so sensitive that shaving is now done with!
Interests: travel, philosophy, politics, Spirituality, spelunking, walking, nature: probably 500 more interests. Attention deficit syndrome? Yes, i have that. Part native American too. I have lived in Tallahassee for nearly 60 years, except for a few years in western North Carolina and Johnson City, Tennessee.
I grew up in a *very* rural area of Upstate New York, 28 kids in my senior class. The "country boy"! But! I have lived in new York City, and loved this time of my life!
Florida State University, 1960s. U S Air Force also. Yes, I have worn many hats over the years, the freshman beanee, the Air Force cap, the hippie acid taker cap, the computer operator visor, the "janitor" cap, the Tarot reader hat.
Enjoy my writings, please comment.
